Project
Mackenzie developed this tenant improvement within an existing warehouse shell to create a customized facility for Organically Grown, a produce distribution company. It includes 13,575 SF of office space and 105,425 SF of production coolers and processing space. Mackenzie’s structural and architectural staff coordinated and designed the structural support for the coolers and process piping in the production areas.Learn more

Indian Health Services

Project
Indian Health Services, in a project administered by the General Services Administration (GSA), selected Mackenzie to update the look and feel of their offices as they moved into a new space—the eighth floor of the MachineWorks Building in Portland’s Pearl District. The design transitioned the organization from a closed office environment to primarily open office. Glenwood Animal Clinic

Project
This 32,000 SF animal clinic houses a general practice clinic, Laurelwood Animal Hospital, as well as a specialty clinic, Oregon Veterinary Specialty Hospital. The building was designed with an emphasis on functionality, with special consideration given to durability. The combined facility includes separate reception areas for each hospital, eight exam rooms, three surgery suites, five treatment areas, two labs/pharmacies, X-ray and radiology services, an isolation ward, staff offices, and storage/support spaces. Epic Imaging East

Mackenzie provided interior design services for this 3,000 SF women’s medical imaging center located on the east side of Portland. Working with the client, the firm was able to maximize the limited square footage to accommodate the required layout space for each of the center’s unique services, including digital mammography, upright open MRI technology, PET/CT scans, and PEM. This 64,548 SF tenant space within the LogistiCourt building on 181st Avenue houses the Danner boot manufacturing facility, including 9,594 SF of administrative offices on two floors. This facility allows the company to improve manufacturing efficiency to raise production, as well as significantly increasing the amenities provided to employees. This tenant improvement created a new headquarters for DWFritz Automation, a leading provider of custom-engineered automation systems for advanced manufacturing clients. The phased 70,000 SF remodel includes 50,000 SF of manufacturing space and 20,000 SF of office and support space. The workplace buildout incorporates a mix of open and private office, conference rooms, and breakout spaces for team collaboration and impromptu meetings.
