Rivergate Corporate Center is a multi-phase project for which Mackenzie has provided ongoing planning, design, and engineering services. Planning work included coordination and applications with the Port of Portland and City of Portland. Phase I, completed more than 10 years ago, included Building A (338,125 SF) and Building B (150,000 SF), and sits on 23 acres. Project
Mackenzie provided architecture, structural engineering and landscape architecture services for the Orvis Store at The Shops North at the Old Mill in Bend, Oregon. Part of phase two of the Old Mill District redevelopment, the custom build-to-suit Orvis Store was designed to fit the Orvis brand while blending into the Old Mill District setting. Situated on a 58-acre site, the Lam Research corporate campus will eventually include up to 12 buildings totaling approximately 1.3 million SF. Master planning and site design for the entire campus included assistance in phasing the development to meet the timelines dictated by the client’s market requirements. Project
Working within a design-build team, Mackenzie provided comprehensive A/E services for this build-to-suit facility for Morgan Distributing, a provider of beverage products to northern and central Oregon. The 100,100 SF building shell houses a range of uses, including corporate offices, conditioned storage, retail sales, visitor hospitality space and a beverage tasting. HCSA Laundry Facility

Project
This project relocated a large commercial laundry service for hospitals in the Seattle/Puget Sound metro area. Mackenzie’s scope began with completion of a due diligence study, concept plan, and site test fits for five sites in Renton, Kent, and Auburn, Washington. From this, we prepared a development feasibility report, including estimated costs. The DoveLewis Emergency and ICU animal hospital is the only 24-hour non-profit emergency animal hospital located in the northwest region of the United States. The two-story, 22,000 SF building on a 0.75-acre site is located in Northwest Portland. The facility includes a reception/waiting room, eight exam rooms, an emergency room, an intensive care unit, a blood bank, and X-ray and radiology services. Mackenzie provided comprehensive A/E services for this two-building, build-to-suit development on a 10.5-acre brownfield site. Building One, a 110,000 SF tilt concrete building with 26’ clear, includes warehouse (90,000 SF), office (12,000 SF), showroom (4,000 SF), and maintenance shop (4,000 SF) functions. Clackamas County needed to consolidate government functions to more efficiently and effectively provide a full range of services to its citizens. Together, the Mackenzie/ Hoffman Construction design-build team was chosen to provide design services for a new administrative facility, along with associated improvements on the 6.5-acre site.
