Tom Wright

A principal of the firm, Tom Wright leads Mackenzie's land use planning group and oversees the firm's Vancouver office. Tom's career assisting clients with development feasibility review and land use approvals spans more than three decades with Mackenzie. This long exposure to the firm's multiple disciplines has provided him with keen insight and experience into crafting creative and effective project approaches. His deep understanding of permitting, compliance, policy and regulatory monitoring, mapping, and site development analysis provides clients with the confidence to seek his advice repeatedly. Tom is an active member of the Columbia Corridor Association and has served on a number of committees and task forces in his long career, including Clackamas County's Planning Commission and Willamette River Greenway Committee and the City of Portland's Development Review Steering Committee, Environmental Zoning Advisory Committee, and Mayor's Business Climate Work Group. He is a past board member for the North Clackamas Parks District. Internally, Tom leads Mackenzie's Community Outreach (CORE) committee.
