COVID-19 Design Guide Version 2.0
Mackenzie’s COVID-19 Design Guide provides a series of illustrations of how the built environment can be adapted in response to the current pandemic. As we learn more about the virus and receive new guidance from government and health authorities, we continue to update the guide and evolve our design strategies.
Version two of this book includes ideas for the adaptation of a number of different situations, including parking, curbside pick-up and drop-off, building arrival, shared entrances, lobbies, restrooms, lockers and bike racks, showers, reception areas, conference rooms, collaboration space, and a variety of workspaces. We have also included a sampling of available products—touchless switches for example—as well as some mechanical solutions that can be used in the implementation of these strategies.
